This project brief was to extend the front alfresco.
We modified the roof at the front of the house from a Jerkin-head gable to a Dutch gable, which meant we had to remove the existing front roof and pitch into it to make it look like the original build.
It was a very unique type of construction. With a tiled roof and translucent finishes, we made them work well together with secret gutters and very unique flashings to ensure water disperses correctly. The client wanted a canoe as a light feature, so working closely with them at each stage, we ensured this could be completed successfully.
Budget - $40,000 - $60,000
